Checklist

Domain name

  • Your domain name should not be longer than three words and ideally should contain your business name and/or the location where you provide your products/services. Try to avoid using hyphens if possible. If you already have a domain name registered, provide the domain name login details so that we will be able to point your domain to your newly designed website. What if the domain name you want is already taken? We can help you with suggestions/ideas if needed.

 

Page Selection

  • What type of pages would you like in your website? Review our suggestions here.

 

Page Content

  • All text, images, and logos would be necessary to complete your newly designed website. Have all relevant information ready to send to our web designers. Ensure you proofread your text prior to sending over. Eager Beaver WebWerx will do it’s best to find and correct spelling/grammatical errors prior to placing on the newly designed website, but it is the responsibility of the client to ensure it’s accuracy.

 

Page Colour Scheme and Font Style

  • What are the colours of your business? We will replicate the colours you use for your corporate image. Is there a preferred font style you wish to use?

 

Comparable Site Design

  • Perhaps you have seen other websites that have a similar look/feel that you want to achieve, or ideas that you would like to include on your newly designed website. If possible, email us a few web addresses to compare to, or have a look through our portfolio designs.

 

Email Accounts

  • Provide us with details about the email accounts you would like to set up (ie. info@, john@, mary@, contact@, feedback@, sales@, etc).

 

Basic Search Engine Optimization

  • Submit up to 20 key words that visitors would type into a search engine to find you. Also provide a one-to-two sentence summary of what your newly designed website/business is about. This helps to raise your rankings on search engines such as Google, Yahoo, and Bing.
